How to mirror your iPhone/iPad screens to your Mac computers
Because your Mac computer (Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro...) isn't a TV, mirroring to your Mac computers isn't possible by default.
You'll need an app to turn it into a TV with capable TV features. In this case, we're using Kodi TV.
Step 1: Visit www.kodi.tv to download and install the Kodi TV app
Step 2: Since GoMirror connects with Kodi through UPnP/DLNA protocol, you'll have to enable it in Kodi.
Within Kodi app, visit Settings -> Services -> UPnP/DLNA and enable settings there.
Or you can follow our video instruction here
Step 3: You may have to turn off the operation system firewall for UPnP to work (UPnP, AirDrop and other services may be blocked by Firewall).
Please follow a full step-by-step instruction by www.wikihow.com to do so
Step 4: Connect your iPhone/iPad to the same wifi as your Mac computer
Step 5: Open GoMirror app. From Home screen, tap "Connect device" button to open Connect Screen then select your Mac-Kodi device there
Step 6: Back to Home screen, select "Screen Mirroring". Follow the screen guide
Step 7: Hurrah, your screen is now mirrored to your Mac
Please see our demo video on how to mirroring to Mac:
Please note that at the moment, GoMirror only supports LG TVs with webOS, Samsung TV
with Tizen tvOS, Roku devices that support 4K, and Kodi TV (Mac, PC, Linux app) that has UPnP properly configured. For
other TV make models, since not fully tested, GoMirror's compatibility is limited,
depends on the TVs' hardware and IO protocols
